Stress is a very common experience. All of us everyday experience it, but the majority of us do not have the skills to deal with it. When stress becomes too great it begins to take it’s toll, mentally, physically and emotionally. I believe in offering a personal service that is aimed at working closely with my clients, understanding their needs and aspirations and helping them to develop a positive attitude to managing stress.  The art of managing stress lies in recognising when you have the right amount of stress in your life and in aquiring the ability to switch off from stressful situations so that you can relax and recover and achieve a healthier lifestyle. Stress affects us in many ways regardless of age, and most of us will suffer stress related problems at some time in our lives.

If you recognise any of these symptoms it would be beneficial to address them - Make that positive move now.  I established the business in 2003, when I initially opened to concentrate on individual counselling including relationship counselling and mediation. I then became aware that there was a growing need for stress management as many of my clients had stress related conditions that had led to depression, high blood pressure etc. I then decided to expand the business to include individual stress counselling  and organisational stress management, which has proved to be highly successful.

 I am a member of : The International Stress Management Association and The British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists- both promote good practice.
