Stress Management Training:
Stress is now recognised as a valid health and safety issue at work and The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 places a duty on the organisation to look after the health and safety and well-being of their employees. This is both in physical and mental health.
Employee Wellbeing
The aim of the well being programme is to teach Managers and staff to look after their health and well being, which will demonstrate your organisation’s duty of care, helping to protect staff and damage to your business from stress-related personal injury claims.
Employee well being programmes bring many benefits to employees, managers and staff. Helping people to manage their professional and personal lives, and to achieve a more effective work-life balance which in turn will produce better productivty and reduce staff absence and turnover.
This is a short programme which can be individually designed to suit each company but may include all or some of the following subjects:

Stress Management
Stress Management and prevention in the organisational setting must take place at both the organisational and individual level. Some types of work are inherently stressful for some individuals are more likely to be stressed by some work situations than others. It is important to note that organisational stress management should not support organisations in laying stress at the door of the individual but should rather help organisations to become more dynamic and by empowering the employee. We assess stress at the organisational level as well as the individual level and use insights on managing change to enable the organisation to manage stress.
Stress management training sessions can be run in groups or individually.

Counselling
As part of your support to your employees you may want to provide the opportunity of individual counselling, as often, when a member of staff has a problem, i.e, marriage breakdown, depression or a bereavement they bring the problem to work leading to poor performance, this can be overwhelming and talking through their problems with a professional can help to make sense of what is happening and enable them to move on.
